Dewey says I’ve hit today’s limit
Every plan has a daily AI allowance that resets at midnight. Plus is higher, and your own key removes the cap.
What you see
Dewey, scanning or Shopping Session replies that today’s AI limit has been reached.
Quick check
- Settings → AI usage limits shows today’s usage and when it resets.
- Scans and Shopping Session AI turns count toward the allowance too.
Fix
- Wait for the reset at midnight in your household’s time zone.
- Move to Family Plus for higher daily limits (Settings → Your plan).
- Or add your own Anthropic key under Settings → Your AI key, which bypasses our caps.
How you know it worked
Dewey answers again and the usage screen shows the new count.
