Do we use cookies?

No. Family Day2Day does not set any HTTP cookies — tracking or otherwise. We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. localStorage stays on your device and is never sent to third parties.

What we store in localStorage

• family-day2day-storage — Your session data: member name, family code, list and task state, app settings. This is the core data that makes the app work offline. It never leaves your device except when syncing to your family's shared database.
• sa_token — Super admin session only. Cleared on sign-out.
• terms_accepted — Whether you've accepted the beta terms of use.

Third-party scripts

We load Google Fonts for typography. Google may set its own cookies for font caching — this is standard browser behaviour, not ad tracking. We load no analytics, ad networks, or social media tracking pixels of any kind.

Clearing your data

You can clear all localStorage data at any time via your browser's developer tools or privacy settings. On iOS, deleting the app removes all local data. This will sign you out, but your family's shared data remains in the cloud and you can sign back in.

Google Sign-In

If you use Google Sign-In, Google's OAuth flow runs in a separate browser window. We receive only your email address and display name — no access to your Google data. We do not store a Google session token.
