Push notifications aren’t arriving
Nothing arrives on the phone although the bell inside the app fills up.
What you see
Assignments, approvals and decisions appear in the in-app bell but no push reaches the lock screen.
Quick check
- Phone settings → Notifications → Day2Day: allowed, with banners and sounds on?
- Settings → Notification Settings → Delivery Channels: is Push Notifications on?
- Low Power Mode, Focus, or an aggressive battery saver on Android can delay or drop pushes.
Fix
- Allow notifications in the phone’s settings and turn Push on inside the app.
- On Android, exempt Day2Day from battery optimisation.
- Open the app once so it re-registers for push, then use Test brief to send one now.
How you know it worked
Test brief arrives on the lock screen within a minute.
