Places and store reminders
Save the stores you use and get reminded on arrival what’s on the list. The location match happens entirely on your phone.
Available on Family Plus.
- On Home, open the menu and choose Places, then Add a place. Search for the store and save it.
- Attach a place to a list (“Groceries” becomes “Costco”).
- Turn on Store Reminders for that place and allow location Always when the phone asks. “Always” is needed because the reminder fires when the app is closed.
- When you arrive with items on that list, a local reminder appears.
Your location never leaves your phone. The match uses the phone’s own geofencing; nothing is sent to us, stored, or shared. Places near me now shows which saved stores are close right now.
