Your first fifteen minutes: six steps in order

Each step makes the next more useful. Do them in this order and the first brief has something to say.

  1. Set your morning brief time during setup. The first brief arrives the next morning.
  2. Add the other adults from the Family tab by link or QR. Everyone sets their own password.
  3. Make one real list. Groceries is the usual first one. Hold the mic and say several things at once; Dewey routes each to the right list.
  4. Assign one real chore to someone else and have them tap it done. Watch the ping arrive.
  5. Start a Decision. It pops up on everyone’s Home, the tally updates live, and the winner is recorded so nobody re-litigates it.
  6. Add a calendar event with an RSVP, then open the notifications bell to see everything in one place.

Habits from households that stick

  • Put the recurring things in once: bins, meds, the standing Thursday thing.
  • Attach a store to a list. “Groceries” becomes “Costco”, and on Family Plus the list finds you when you arrive.
  • Let a Decision settle anything that would otherwise be forty messages.
  • Read the weekly load report before it becomes an argument.
